Job Description

The Internship – Admin, Project Management position is a pivotal role within an organization responsible for planning, executing, and overseeing projects from inception to completion. Admin in project management are accountable for ensuring that projects meet their objectives within scope, budget, and timeline constraints while maintaining high-quality standards.

Job Responsibilities

  • Developing detailed project plans, including defining goals, objectives, tasks, timelines, and resource allocation.
  • Assembling and leading project teams, delegating tasks, and fostering collaboration among team members.
  • Managing project budgets, tracking expenditures, and ensuring cost-effectiveness throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Identifying potential project risks and developing strategies to mitigate them, ensuring projects stay on track.
  • Ensuring that project deliverables meet quality standards and align with project requirements.
  • Maintaining open and clear communication with stakeholders, providing regular updates on project progress, and addressing any concerns.
  • Efficiently allocating and managing project resources, including personnel, materials, and technology.
  • Resolving challenges and obstacles that may arise during the project, adapting to changes, and making decisions to keep the project on course.
  • Maintaining accurate project documentation, including reports, schedules, and status updates.
  • Conducting project evaluations and post-project reviews to identify lessons learned and areas for improvement.

Job Responsibilities

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering with minimum 15 years of working experience.
  • Sufficient working experience in managing infrastructure projects preferably in Project Management Consultancy Services role.
  • Able to lead a team of Senior Engineers & Construction Managers
  • Able to manage multiple project portfolios in various development cycle
  • Good knowledge in project implementation from initiation, planning & design, execution and up to closing phase.
  • Good knowledge in project coordination and value management / value engineering.
  • Has adequate exposure in software such as Microsoft Projects and Primavera.
  • Proficient in MS Office with excellent communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia
  • Possess a valid CIDB Green Card
