HR and Admin Assistant

Job Description

As an HR and Admin Assistant you will play a pivotal role in fostering a positive work environment, promoting employee engagement, and ensuring the organization’s compliance with employment laws and regulations. Your expertise in human resources will be instrumental in nurturing talent, enhancing organizational culture, and contributing to the overall success of the company.

Job Responsibilities

  • Lead the recruitment process, including job postings, candidate screening, interviewing, and onboarding. Collaborate with department heads to identify staffing needs and ensure the organization attracts top talent.
  • Proactively address and resolve employee issues, conflicts, and grievances. Promote a positive and inclusive work culture while fostering strong working relationships among team members.
  • Develop and oversee performance management processes, including performance appraisals, feedback, and improvement plans. Provide guidance to managers on performance-related matters.
  • Identify training needs and develop programs to enhance employee skills and capabilities. Encourage continuous learning and development among the workforce.
  • Manage the compensation and benefits programs, ensuring competitive packages and compliance with legal requirements. Conduct salary surveys and recommend adjustments as necessary.
  • Develop and enforce HR policies and procedures that align with legal and regulatory requirements. Stay up-to-date with labor laws and ensure the company’s compliance.
  • Collect and analyze HR data to provide insights into workforce trends, turnover rates, and other key metrics. Use data-driven insights to support decision-making.
  • Collaborate with leadership to develop and implement a talent acquisition strategy that aligns with the company’s long-term goals and growth plans.
  • Implement programs and initiatives to enhance employee engagement, satisfaction, and retention. Organize team-building activities and recognition programs.

Job Responsibilities

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related field. Master’s degree or HR certification (e.g., SHRM or HRCI) is a plus.
  • Proven experience as an HR Manager or in a similar HR leadership role, with a minimum of 10 years in HR management.
  • Strong knowledge of labor laws, employment regulations, and HR best practices.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships at all levels of the organization.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead HR initiatives and projects, driving positive change within the company.
  • Proficiency in HR software and systems for managing HR-related data and processes.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with a solutions-oriented mindset.
  • Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
